CARE OF YOUR WATCH
Besides being a trendy accessory your watch is an investment. To keep it´s accuracy, finish and value the watch needs good care.
- Avoid contact to petroleum products or other strong liquids such as alcohol, strong perfumes and acids that may damage the case, strap and seals.
- Make sure the crown is always screwed firmly to the case. The Crown has threads which screw counterclockwise to open, so as to be able to set the time. When you screw the crown clockwise whilst at the same time pressing the crown, you will seal the watch again. It is VERY important that you are careful when screwing back the crown clockwise with light pressure. The crown must sit tight to the case so it cannot be screwed any more. If the crown does not sit tight it may affect the water resistance and further more, It may also affect the time displayed on the watch by moving the hands unintentionally.
- Avoid wearing your watch whilst performing hard physical work.
- Avoid exposing your watch to rapid temperature changes.
- Clean your watch with a soft cloth every now and then.
- When your watch needs a new battery it is good to make the change as soon as possible. Discharged batteries may cause damage to the movement. A battery lasts for approximately three years. When changing the battery you must make a professional pressure test of the watch for the warranty to apply.
